Kolejowe Zakłady Nawierzchniowe “Bieżanów” (KZN Bieżanów) has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal—one of the most highly recognised sustainability ratings worldwide.
EcoVadis assesses organisations across the globe, and this result places KZN Bieżanów among the top 15% of companies out of thousands evaluated by EcoVadis over the past year. The assessment covered areas including the company’s environmental impact, working conditions and pay equality, business and workplace ethics, as well as waste management.
The evaluation focuses on four key areas:
– environment
– human rights and labour rights
– ethics
– sustainable procurement
Business ethics and social responsibility are fundamental pillars of our company’s values. The EcoVadis assessment confirms that our efforts towards sustainable development are moving in the right direction, while also identifying areas where we can continue to improve—which is extremely valuable to us.
This achievement is the result of the commitment and cooperation of the entire team, representing many different departments across the company. We hope that through our continued joint efforts, we will take another step forward in the next assessment and achieve a Gold Medal—and in the future, a Platinum Medal.
