The KZN Bieżanów Group, represented by President Rafał Leszczyński, took part in the Polish Infrastructure Congress 2024.
During both the opening panel and the closing discussion, the Group’s President addressed topics including the efficiency of investment processes following the recent political changes and the financing of infrastructure projects. He highlighted, among other issues, the need to develop a stable financing strategy for railway investments and pointed out the untapped potential of the railway industry, which has been limited by a lack of new projects. He emphasised that the railway sector is ready to take on new challenges.
“Once investments restart, this situation should not be described as an increase in demand, but rather as a return to its normal level. A lack of tenders cannot be considered normal,” said Rafał Leszczyński.
“Let us not be afraid of increased demand, because this means returning to a healthy railway investment market. The absence of investments is an abnormal situation that should never happen again on the Polish market,” he concluded.
