During the TRAKO 2025 Gala, companies of the KZN Bieżanów Group received two prestigious awards, recognising the Group's consistent growth and commitment to responsible business practices.

Two KZN Companies Recognised as Socially Responsible Railway Companies
The "Socially Responsible Railway Company 2025" award was presented to two companies within the KZN Bieżanów Group: KZN Bieżanów and the Sleeper Impregnation Plant in Czeremcha. The distinction is awarded to organisations that successfully combine business growth with environmental, social and corporate responsibility. It recognises a consistently implemented CSR strategy, transparent governance and genuine commitment to supporting local communities. As Ryszard Sokołowski, President of the Management Board of the Sleeper Impregnation Plant in Czeremcha, emphasised, this year's award is particularly meaningful because it confirms that the Group's shared strategy of responsible development delivers measurable results and is recognised across the railway industry. It is also worth noting that in 2025 KZN Bieżanów, as the parent company representing the Group, was awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal, one of the world's most respected sustainability assessments.

Award for KZN Contrack's Plac Zawiszy Project

Another significant distinction was awarded to KZN Contrack, which won the Eng. Józef Nowkuński Award in the category Completed Linear and Civil Engineering Projects in Poland. The award recognised the reconstruction of the tram track and turnout system at Plac Zawiszy in Warsaw. The project utilised the prefabricated CONTRACK technology, while installation works were carried out around the clock by KZN Rail. The combination of advanced technology and efficient project organisation made it possible to complete the investment within an exceptionally short timeframe—an essential factor at one of Warsaw's busiest transport hubs. As Dorota Błaszkiewicz-Juszczęć, Product Manager at KZN Contrack, explained, the use of prefabricated slabs significantly reduced disruptions for residents and public transport users, while the industry award confirms the effectiveness of this solution.
Two Exhibition Stands and a Jubilee Celebration
During TRAKO 2025, the KZN Bieżanów Group welcomed visitors at two exhibition stands. At the indoor stand, celebrating the dual anniversaries of the 80th anniversary of KZN Bieżanów and the 85th anniversary of the Sleeper Impregnation Plant in Czeremcha, visitors could enjoy a unique attraction—a railway throne made from realistic railway rails. Guests were invited to record commemorative videos and celebrate the companies' milestones in an original way.The outdoor exhibition featured a 10-metre prefabricated tram crossing built using CONTRACK technology, complete with an integrated rail and LED warning lights. As demonstrated by our specialists, such elements can be installed overnight, while prefabricated slabs can be manufactured in lengths of up to 17 metres.

Focused on Quality, Innovation and Responsibility
The KZN Bieżanów Group's participation in TRAKO 2025 and the awards received confirm that its development strategy—based on quality, innovation and social responsibility—continues to deliver tangible results. These industry distinctions demonstrate that the Group's technological achievements and organisational excellence are recognised and valued across the rail infrastructure sector.
